Guidelines

Wait 2 - 3 hours after eating to practice.

Practice in comfortable clothing to allow for maximum movement and flexibility.

Please inform your instructor of any injuries or illnesses that might affect your practice.

Yoga is about practicing to your own level. Avoid overstretching or straining. Rest when needed.

Yoga is  not competitive. It is not just a "work out" or "cross-training." Yoga is a practice that makes the body stronger, more flexible, and healthier, while opening the heart, mind, and spirit.

No experience or extraordinary flexibility is required.

Attend the level of class recommended. Please only attend an intermediate class if you have an on-going and consistent practice.

Please turn off your cell phones or pagers in the center.

Refrain from wearing perfume or cologne to class.
