
Michael began his studies in 1972 with his Guru, Goswami Kriyananda, at the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago. His studies focused on Yoga Philosophy & Mysticism, Hatha Yoga and Astrology. He continues to study with his Guru by retreats and correspondence.
Michelle G. is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor through the Temple of Kriya Yoga, Chicago, Illinois. She has been teaching in the Denver area since 2001, and also serves as an advisor for the Kriya Yoga teacher training certification course. Her compassionate teaching style incorporates a balanced approach, which opens all parts of the body regardless of age or body composition.
Kevon has practiced Yoga since 1996 and is in her second year of sharing her love of the teachings. Her style draws on several traditions to promote conscious movement, self-acceptance and regular practice.
Amber began studying Yoga in 1999 and started teaching when she was pregnant with her first child. She has extensive of pregnancy and childbirth, and her instruction is quiet and restorative.
Michele Y. began studying Yoga and massage therapy in 1995. Her background includes dance and movement and her teaching style is gentle and introspective.
Amelia (RYT) is registered with Yoga Alliance. She has been practicing yoga since 1994 when she took it as a P.E. elective in college. With a strong foundation in the Iyengar tradition, she has more recently studied a more traditional, classical approach to yoga, which incorporates pranayama, meditation, mantra, and Ayurveda into her personal practice. In class, Amelia teaches a traditional style of Hatha Yoga with a focus on detail to alignment and safety for the students. She encourages students to take time out for themselves, be present, and to live in the moment.
Liz earned her yoga teacher training certification through the Living Yoga Program in Austin, Texas and is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Alliance instructor. She has been practicing yoga since 1994 and teaching since 1999. Yoga is her passion and her life work. In addition to teaching classes locally, she also leads teacher training intensives nationally and has a set of videos that are sold internationally.
Liza has been practicing yoga since 2000 and began teaching in 2008. She received her B.S. in Holistic Health and Wellness including additional course work in Nutrition. Liza brings her knowledge from her experience as a doula, childbirth educator and apprentice midwife to her prenatal yoga classes. Her classes are tailored to the specific needs of each group of women with a balance of challenging and restorative postures. LAURA’s exploration of yoga began in 1999 while traveling in Thailand and has continued in schools, studios and ashrams, nationally and internationally. Her teaching style is influenced by the many great teachers who have guided her along yoga’s path of continual learning, and in recognition that, essentially, we are each others’ teachers. Classes are taught in a gentle, safe, relaxed and creative environment, guiding yoga to meet the student where they are.
